We are diversity owned and operated company, comprised of endowed storytellers with the tools to craft, produce and execute videos and films on several scales. We’ve worked on commercials, social content films, branded films, documentaries, TV and feature films.
We take on every challenge with the same MO – to find and execute the best version of the idea. We don’t distinguish between smaller and bigger productions. Instead we pour our heart into every project.
Native of Mexico, Alfredo de Villa has lived in the United States for over 20 years. Alfredo began his career by gaining a graduate degree in film from Columbia University in New York City. His first film, Washington Heights, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival where it was bought and distributed by Lionsgate. His third film Adrift in Manhattan premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Dramatic Competition.
Alfredo has directed hundreds of spots for scores of brands including Microsoft, Amazon, Chevrolet, Budweiser, Carolina Herrera, The Los Angeles Times, Oracle, Harley Davidson and The Chicago Tribune. He has taught commercial directing at Sundance Institute.
Robert is an acclaimed, Emmy award-winning producer behind the “Barbershop” franchise, the genre defining “Soulfood,” “The Hate U Give” and the recent Bob Marley film “One Love,” a smash hit at the global box office for Paramount Pictures.
He has produced movies and TV across many platforms, such clients as Netflix, Paramount, Fox, MGM, Sony, Microsoft, CBS, Showtime, among others.
Guillermo Dorado is a Los Angeles based filmmaker whose production career started with live events ranging from the Concourse d’Elegance to E3. Seeking a more filmic route, he began producing narrative driven short films, web series, and branded content. His career in production has allowed him direct his own short films and music videos.
He was raised on ghost stories and practical jokes, exposed to horror films well before was most likely appropriate for his age, and simultaneously loved and terrorized by his family. These identity shaping experiences have formed him into the tender hearted, quick-witted man he is today.

Tim Donahue began working as an editor for Kodak Entertainment Imaging 35mm workshops where he met future business partner and Practical Magic CEO Matthew Lewis. After serving as an editor and colorist on web series’ for Comedy Central and Machinima, Tim starting working more on set, running motion control camera systems for Practical Magic VR productions for Assassin’s Creed, Dunkirk VR, and Across Dark for Lotte World.
Another unforeseen career pivot led to Tim putting his love of Italian cars to use as on-screen talent for Motor Trend TV’s AutoBiography and again on AutoBiography: Cold Cases, all the while serving on the editorial team and color grading the entire internationally broadcast series.
Alongside AutoBiography production, Tim has worked consistently as an editor and colorist for Liam Labs on myriad corporate campaigns and documentary pieces. In 2022, Practical Magic and Liam Labs became strategic partners, dramatically simplifying Tim’s commute.
