DEVON GUMMERSALL
Director

Devon has directed branded content for companies like Sephora, Amazon, and Microsoft and recently directed multiple episodes of the hit ABC series “Nashville”. Born in Durango, Colorado, he grew up in Los Angeles and began his career at the age of 14 playing “Brian Krakow” on the highly-acclaimed ABC series “My So-Called Life” with Claire Danes. Intrigued by visual storytelling, Devon quickly began his journey to the other side of the camera. He worked as a staff writer on Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick’s streaming/NBC series “Quarterlife”. He filmed, edited, and directed the music documentary “Lawn Chairs and Living Rooms” following The Verve Pipe’s Brian Vander Ark on a backyard tour of the US. Moving to independent features Devon wrote and directed the indie dramedy “Low Fidelity” (released by Amplify in 2013) and directed the suspense thriller “The Inherited” starring Nathan Darrow and Annabella Sciorra (released in 2016 on Lifetime). In addition to his work in branded content, Devon is currently in the early stages of casting for his third feature “Everyday Blues.”
